A new version of album favourite Kai Kai As To which adds a spiritual, new age dimension to this beautiful, introspective folk song which pays respect to a sacred Ainu lake below the summit of Mount Poroshi in the Hidaka Mountain range.
Accompanying this is a remix of album track Oroho Raha by pioneering UK folk act Stick in the Wheel A 2006 collaboration between OKI and Irish folk act Kila, this remix features additional production from Stick in the Wheel’s Ian Carter and vocals from Nicola Kearey, which she adapted from a 10th century Old English poem that, like Ooroho Raha, was inspired by “sleep”.

I love these women. the voices mesh together perfectly; also the world music is exceptional. I have all of their albums and they're all excellent. Give them a listen. Steve Lake

Listen to opening track Pekanpe Uk or Battaki ....if you dont like them then theres no hope for the human race ...no, really, that vital, that good ....songs and a voice that come from some mysterious and beautiful folk memory that shouldnt need explaining, like you bow down to nature and just connect. I'm not usually this flowery, but really, she is the real deal. lnkxg01
